Position Summary

Under the guidance of the Pit Manager, the Gaming Operations Supervisor is tasked with delivering exceptional service to both internal and external clientele. This role involves overseeing and managing a designated area of the gaming floor, ensuring adherence to customer service standards while upholding the integrity of the games.


Key Responsibilities

  • Foster an environment that encourages guests to choose Hard Rock Casino Bristol for their gaming experience; actively engage in building and maintaining guest relationships while mentoring team members to enhance service quality.
  • Supervise dealer functions in alignment with company policies and protocols.
  • Oversee training for team members, including planning, assigning, and directing tasks.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, recognize achievements, and implement disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Address guest complaints and resolve issues effectively.
  • Monitor and document guest play activities.
  • Assist guests in acquiring markers.
  • Ensure accuracy in buy-ins and compliance with all gaming regulations.

Qualifications

A High School Diploma is mandatory. A minimum of three years of experience in table games is required, with two years in a management capacity preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of primary casino games and familiarity with secondary games is essential.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must obtain and maintain all necessary licenses and certifications as mandated by Federal, State, and Virginia Lottery regulations.
  • Successful completion of a background check is required.
  • Must pass a drug screening.
  • Candidate must be at least twenty-one (21) years old.
  • Prior experience in the gaming sector is highly desirable.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of relevant federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Familiarity with Hard Rock operations.
  • Awareness of policies and procedures, including the ability to identify various cheating techniques.

Abilities:

  • Proficient in calculating figures and utilizing spreadsheets for report generation.
  • Capable of effectively presenting information and addressing inquiries from diverse groups, including managers, clients, and the public.
  • Adept at solving practical problems and managing a variety of situations.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts and schedules as required.
