Speech-Language Pathologist for Secondary Schools

Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at AnthroMed Education. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting a mixed caseload of Middle School and High School students, working closely with other SLPs and educators to ensure the highest quality of care and intervention.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic communication skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings to address speech and language goals outlined in IEPs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other related service providers to support students' academic and social-emotional development.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and innovative strategies to enhance students' communication skills and facilitate progress towards established goals.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed to ensure continued growth and achievement.
  • Foster positive relationships with parents and caregivers through regular communication and involvement in the IEP process.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Experience working with school-aged children in a school or clinical setting.
  • Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
