Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out and assemble pipe systems, pipe supports, and related equipment according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Install and maintain pipe systems, including cutting, threading, and bending pipes as needed.
  • Select and procure materials and equipment for pipe installations and repairs.
  • Inspect work sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Plan and execute pipe installations and repairs to minimize disruptions and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless execution of projects.
Additional Functions
  • Monitor and maintain building systems, including HVAC and plumbing.
  • Execute minor construction projects as required.
  • Work varying shifts and overtime as needed to meet business demands.
  • Maintain equipment and workstations in a clean and organized manner.
  • Interface with supervisors and managers to provide progress updates and discuss project requirements.
Requirements
  • Arrive on time and consistently complete each shift.
  • Pass a physical exam to ensure fitness for respirator/SCBA use.
  • Follow all safety rules and standards for the company and site.
  • Understand and follow instructions from direct supervisors.
Physical Profile Requirements

The physical demands of this role include:

  • Occasionally remaining on one's feet for long periods.
  • Moving about on foot for long periods.
  • Remaining in a seated position for long periods.
  • Climbing stairs, step-ladders, extension ladders, and scaffolding ladders.
  • Raising or lowering objects of up to 50 pounds.
  • Transporting objects of up to 50 pounds over short distances.
  • Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and negligible force constantly.
