Speech Language Pathologist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Lilac City Behavioral Services. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality services to our students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our Special Education Teacher and other team members to develop and implement individualized student programs.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify communication needs and develop targeted interventions.
  • Develop and implement IEP goals in consultation with our team, ensuring alignment with internal and external compliance timelines and instructional standards.
  • Provide direct SLP services to students, collecting data and assessing progress toward identified learning targets and IEP goals.
  • Collaborate with our team to support student progress and achieve IEP goals.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as an SLP, with a proven track record of working with individuals with severe behavior.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Ability to think and act autonomously, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
