Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Social Worker to join our team at the Department of Veterans Affairs. As a key member of our Social Services Department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our veterans and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide counseling and therapy services to veterans and their families to address mental health issues, relationship problems, and other challenges.
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to address the unique needs of each veteran.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for our veterans.
  • Develop and implement programs to promote mental health and wellness among our veterans.
  • Provide education and support to veterans and their families on topics such as coping with trauma, stress management, and healthy relationships.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field.
  • Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of California.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical social work, preferably in a healthcare or veterans' services setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
