The US Postal Service is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Staff Member to join our facilities maintenance team. As a Janitorial Staff Member, you will be responsible for performing a range of tasks related to custodial services, including cleaning, washing, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.

Your duties will include:

  • Performing janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
  • Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
  • Washing windows and other glass surfaces
  • Care for lawns and shrubs around our facilities
  • Remove ashes, snow, and ice from walkways and driveways

You will also be responsible for operating a variety of power-driven equipment, such as floor scrubbers, floor sanders, waxers, and wall washers. Additionally, you will assist in making minor maintenance repairs to building and equipment as needed.
