Job Summary

Advanced Technology Services is seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance on our equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including observing equipment in operation to identify potential issues, dismantling devices to access and repair defective parts, and testing equipment to ensure proper function.
  • Identify and source parts, supplies, and repair items as needed to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Independently perform maintenance tasks in accordance with industry standards and company policies.
  • May be required to operate machinery and equipment, including lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools, to repair and maintain parts.
  • Comply with 5S and housekeeping standards to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) activities to identify and implement process improvements and cost savings.
  • Update records and review Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) history to ensure accurate tracking of maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze control systems to resolve software and hardware issues.
  • Utilize predictive maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data and identify potential issues.
  • Provide assistance and training to lower-level technicians and leadership to support team development and growth.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
  • Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry or successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program.
  • Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems, with the ability to analyze problems and perform repairs.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
  • May be required to travel.
Working Conditions

The Maintenance Specialist will work in a factory environment, which may be loud and require exposure to hazardous materials and greasy or slippery floors. The employee must be able to lift and move objects weighing more than 50 pounds and work at heights that may require a ladder or lift.
