Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled PACU Registered Nurse to join our team at Memorial Hospital Belleville. As a key member of our Perioperative Services team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support services for surgical, gastroenterology, treatment, Cardiac Cath Lab, and pain center patients.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working four 9-hour shifts from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with call required and a 45-minute arrival time. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.
  • Promote patient and family-centered care in a healing environment.
  • Educate patients and their families on how to manage their illness or injury, including post-treatment home care needs and medication administration.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree in Nursing.
  • No experience is required, but we prefer candidates with less than two years of experience.
  • RN licensure and current certification in BLS and ACLS.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $95,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, you may be eligible for up to $15,000 in sign-on bonuses and competitive pay based on the BJC RN Career Ladder.
