Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing musculoskeletal injury care, utilizing approved supplemental clinical privileges, including the ordering of imaging studies, laboratory tests, basic pharmaceuticals, joint injections, and referrals to specialty providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the challenges operators face, proper nutrition, injuries, and treatment options.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop rehabilitation protocols and interventions based on screening information.
  • Assist in the development of the unit's rehabilitation system, ensuring compliance with local, state, and national laws and regulations.
  • Review and evaluate physician referrals and patients' records to determine physical therapy treatment requirements.
  • Perform patient tests, measurements, and evaluations, recording findings to aid in developing and/or revising treatment programs.
  • Participate in periodic meetings with HPO staff to review care provided to patients and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • Possess a Master's degree (doctoral degree preferred) in physical therapy.
  • Certification in at least 2 of the following: dry needling, acupuncture, Graston's Technique, Active Release Techniques (ART), cupping.
  • Minimum of 5 years or more of demonstrable post-professional experience in performing manual therapy in sports medicine.
  • Certification through ABPTS as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) or Sports Certified Specialist (SCS), or certification through NATA as a certified athletic trainer (ATC).

Salary

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
