Pet Health Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pet Health Assistant to join our Community Medicine team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing expert veterinary care to animals in need, working closely with our veterinarians and assistants to deliver high-quality services to underserved communities.
Key Responsibilities- Care for cats, dogs, and rabbits in spay/neuter surgery, administering injections, intubating animals, and monitoring vital signs.
- Provide a safe and compassionate environment for animals, staff, and clients, using low-stress handling techniques.
- Assist with patient exams, take medical history, perform diagnostic testing, and prepare medications for clients.
- Maintain controlled substance drug logs and patient records, staying current on emergency drugs and protocols.
