Job Responsibilities

As a Diagnostic Cardiology Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and acquisition of cardiac cath digital images. Key responsibilities include:

  • Positioning the cath lab table and adjusting angles
  • Assisting physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Monitoring patients' vital signs and hemodynamic data
  • Operating imaging equipment using fluoroscopy machines and other devices

Qualifications

A graduate degree in Radiology Technology or an equivalent field is required. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a cath lab setting is preferred. Holding a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) or Louisiana State Radiologic Technology (LSRT) license in the state of employment is mandatory.
