About this role

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures. This requires excellent communication skills and a calm demeanor to ensure patient comfort and safety.

Requirements:

Key qualifications include:
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in the field of diagnostic imaging
  • Active licensure or accreditation in one of the 50 US states
  • Additional requirements and certifications as may be requested by the specific facility/unit
  • A passion for delivering exceptional patient care


Responsibilities & Expectations

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. This may involve preparing patients for procedures, positioning them for imaging, and providing instructions and support throughout the process. Travelers will work for a limited amount of time at a particular location, providing patient care and support before moving on to their next assignment. This role requires adaptability, a willingness to learn, and a desire to help others.
