Required Certifications and Licenses
  • Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement
  • BLS certification through American Heart Association
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
Scheduling Requirements
  • Per Diem
  • Schedule will vary depending on department needs
Essential Functions

The Registered Nurse will organize and administer individualized age-specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care. The nurse will support the philosophy, objectives, and mission and vision of RWJBarnabas Health and the Department of Nursing.

The nurse will practice in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements, and other regulatory agencies.

The nurse will participate in patient teaching and discharge planning and participate in unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities.
