Division Chief, Interventional Radiology Opportunity

Baystate Health, a leading healthcare provider in western Massachusetts, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Division Chief of Interventional Radiology to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a well-established team of interventional radiologists at Baystate Medical Center, a 716-bed academic medical center and the region's only Level I Trauma Center.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow and improve our division's services, including angiography, arterial and venous interventions, UFE, vertebral augmentation, TIPS, venous access, and oncology programs.
  • Mix of inpatient and outpatient services, with scheduled clinical time for pre and post-op patients on the main campus.
  • Collaborate with residents and medical students, with a faculty appointment to the University of Massachusetts Medical School-Baystate.

Requirements:

  • ABMS Board Certification in Interventional Radiology.
  • 5+ years of experience with progressive management responsibilities and leadership in an academic department.
  • Excellent collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for medical education and mentoring faculty.
  • Ability to engage stakeholders to work towards a shared vision.
