Inventory Processor ARC 36

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a skilled Inventory Processor to join our team in Rockford, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and distributing merchandise in our warehouse.

Estimated Salary: $13-$15 per hour

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and possess strong organizational and time management abilities.

You will be responsible for:

• SORTING, TAGGING, AND PRICING MERCHANDISE ACCORDING TO INSTRUCTIONS
• TRACKING PRODUCTION NUMBERS AND REPORTING IN THE ASSIGNED LOCATION
• MOVING PRICED MERCHANDISE TO FLOOR FOR DISPLAY AND STOCKING OR TO THE DESIGNATED SHIPPING LOCATION IN THE WAREHOUSE
• ASSISTING DONORS WITH DONATIONS, COMPLETING DONATION RECEIPTS, COLLECTING DONOR INFORMATION, AND TRACKING DONORS
• POWER SORTING DONATIONS INTO THE CORRECT BINS
• RECEIVING ARC TRUCKS AND ASSISTING TO LOAD, UNLOAD, AND MOVE PRODUCT TO THE CORRECT DEPARTMENTS
• Maintaining clean work and storage spaces
• FOLLOWING ALL SALVATION ARMY POLICIES REGARDING THE SALE OF MERCHANDISE
• ASSISTING IN KEEPING THE SALES FLOOR STOCKED AND PUTTING NEW MERCHANDISE OUT AS ASSIGNED
• WORKING TO MEET THE PRODUCTION GOALS FOR THE STORE EACH DAY AS NEEDED
• MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR A FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE; FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME POSITIONS WILL REQUIRE EVENING, WEEKEND, AND HOLIDAY HOURS
