Job Summary:
UCHealth is seeking a skilled Nurse Leader to provide nursing leadership in a physician practice/medical office setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and mentoring nursing and support staff, determining staffing levels and assignments, and providing direct patient care as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts
- Determine staffing levels and assignments based on staff availability, staff abilities, census, and patient acuity
- Provide direct patient care as needed, including evaluating the effectiveness of patient care and identifying any issues that affect desired patient outcomes
- Respond to complaints about patient care and related services, and manage through established channels
- Ensure staff has necessary equipment and supplies to provide safe, quality patient care
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- At least 1 year of nursing experience
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
