Outpatient Therapist

Starfish Family Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Outpatient Therapist - Child & Adolescent Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide direct therapeutic services to children, youth, and families, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients with mental health and co-occurring disorders
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical charts, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure clients receive appropriate services based on their level of care
• Participate in professional development activities, including in-service training, peer review, and external workshops

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field
• Current valid professional licensure/certification in the State of Michigan
• At least one year of experience in assessment, diagnosing, and treatment of children and youth
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

• Comprehensive therapeutic skills, including assessment, clinical services, and treatment planning
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
