Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at The University of Kansas Health System. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing x-ray procedures to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of radiographic procedures and protocols
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Participate in the training and education of student technologists and other staff members
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiologic technology and apply this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Graduate of a 2-year accredited Radiology Technology program
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) certification
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT) certification in the state of Kansas
  • Radiography (R) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
  • Additional language skills
