Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Radiology Technician to join our esteemed institution, Baptist Health Lexington. This role is essential in providing high-quality imaging services across various locations.

Certification Requirements
  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
  • EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
  • Tech Cert Verification - National
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
  • State License 1 Verification
  • NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
Job Specifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years required.
  • Travelers: First-time travelers are welcome.
  • Hospital Experience: Candidates should have experience in both teaching and community hospitals.
  • Emergency Coverage: Ability to assist with emergency surgery and fluoroscopy cases as necessary.
  • Equipment Proficiency: Preferred experience with GE, PACS, and Siemens equipment.
  • O-ARM: Experience with O-ARM is preferred.
  • Epic: Familiarity with Epic is required.
  • Uniform: Scrub color is navy.
Essential Job Requirements
  • Licenses: BLS, ARRT-R, and KY License are mandatory.
Additional Information
  • If driving is a significant aspect of the role, a current Driver's License must be provided.
  • Certification requirements are detailed in the unit descriptions available in the facility profile.
  • For allied professionals, please consult the Allied Licensure report and position-specific unit description for licensing requirements.
  • P/F EKG Test is required for Med Surg/Tele, Tele, and ICU roles only.
  • Candidates may be canceled if they do not pass certain required tests.
  • All candidates must submit a badge photo to the hospital's security team prior to starting.
  • HR will provide first-day instructions directly to candidates prior to commencement.
