Artisan Baker

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Artisan Baker to join our team at Firebrand Bread. As an Artisan Baker, you will be responsible for shaping and baking high-quality bread products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shape and bake bread products to meet quality and quantity standards
• Operate and maintain bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, and proofers
• Monitor and control dough temperature, humidity, and other environmental factors to ensure optimal bread quality
• Collaborate with production team members to meet production goals and deadlines
• Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a bakery or related production environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in baking and pastry arts or related field preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with attention to detail and quality
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
