Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Clinician to join our Walk-in Care team at Essentia Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly, utilizing advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Rotate among other area walk-in campuses for coverage, requiring ND & MN licensure and DEA.
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nurse Practitioner or Bachelor's/Master's degree in Physician Assistant program from an accredited program/institution.
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in ND & MN.
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in ND & MN.
  • Current certification in CPR.
  • National certification, in applicable area.
  • Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
Work Environment

This is a 0.75 FTE, full-time status position with 30 patient contact hours a week. The NP/PA will work 12-hour shifts during the week, typically 3 days per week, and rotating every 4th weekend. Patient volume is expected to be 25-35 per 12-hr shift.
