Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and friendly Host/Hostess to join our team at Corvina Seafood Grill. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience that sets the tone for their dining experience.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Seat guests in a timely and efficient manner, presenting menus and specials in a clear and concise manner.
  • Manage reservations and waitlists, ensuring that guests are informed of wait times and provided with updates as necessary.
  • Monitor tables and maintain a clean and organized host stand, ensuring that all necessary materials are readily available.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, servers, and other staff members to ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including but not limited to, taking phone calls, answering questions, and providing general assistance to guests and staff.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
