Dietary Assistant

Fairway View Neighborhoods is seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team in the kitchen. As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for performing a variety of dietary activities, including preparing foods, portioning foods, setting up trays, clearing tables, racking and washing dishes, pots and pans, and maintaining a sanitary environment.

• Prepare and portion food according to dietary needs and preferences
• Set up and clear tables, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Rack and wash dishes, pots, and pans, and maintain a sanitary environment
• Follow proper safety and infection control procedures in food and dish handling
• Demonstrate cooperation and team spirit when working with staff, residents, and patients
• Work with others in the department and throughout the organization in a positive and respectful manner

• Demonstrate understanding of procedures relating to food handling, dish washing, and sanitizing work and eating surfaces
• Follow proper safety and infection control procedures in food and dish handling
• Cooperate with staff, residents, and patients to ensure a positive and respectful work environment

This is a Limited Part Time position, working less than 48 hours per 2-week pay period. The schedule is 4-7:30pm, 2-3 days per week, including alternating weekends. Additional hours are available during the week if desired.
