Lead Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team at Fairfield Property Management. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and painting.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of the property
- Oversee the maintenance team and collaborate with the Property Manager to ensure all maintenance goals and standards are met
- Diagnose and solve maintenance issues ranging from plumbing, electrical, general carpentry, painting, HVAC, and appliance repair
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents in a timely manner using the make-ready checklist
- Accompany vendors into units and check the quality of work
- Perform daily maintenance of property grounds, ensuring curb appeal is maintained
- Maintain the maintenance shop and ensure that all necessary tools and supplies are available
- 3+ years of maintenance experience, preferably on a residential property
- EPA Certification required
- Ability to work in a professional, courteous, cooperative, tactful, and patient manner with residents, FPM employees, vendors, suppliers, and members of the public
- Self-motivated to work independently with little guidance
- Ability to work on-call and respond promptly and appropriately to all calls required
- Ability to maintain reliable transportation, a current and valid driver's license, and vehicle insurance required
