MRI/CT/XR Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI/CT/XR Technologist to join our team at Health Images in Cherry Creek. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures, CT and X-Ray examinations according to protocol and age-specific needs.
Key Responsibilities- Interface with patients to ascertain medical history and provide instructions/explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image.
- Review patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent.
- Screen patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc.
- Obtain prior films/exams as needed and perform high-quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation.
- Perform exams while attending to patient's care before, during, and following exam and notify the appropriate party if patient's condition changes at any time.
- Transfer images to other locations as needed.
- Coordinate scan protocols with Radiologist.
- Maintain and regularly inspect equipment and immediately report any quality concerns as well as equipment failures or deficiencies.
- Interface with Lead Technologist & Center/Area Manager regarding any and all departmental concerns.
- Two plus years' experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) - preferred
- Two plus years' experience in Computed Tomography (CT) - preferred
- Two plus years' experience in X-Ray - preferred
- Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed
- Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver, and a team player
- Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
- Ability to excel in a very fast-paced team environment
- Ability to continuously 'exceed' company and customer expectation
- Strong communication skills & professional demeanor
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification with Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or current American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) certification
- Registry in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Registry in Radiography (R)
- Current license from state medical board (if applicable)
- Current CPR certification
