Bowhead Logistics Management, LLC is seeking a skilled Tractor Trailer Truck Driver to join our team at the Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, PA. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various locations.
Key Responsibilities- Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading truck cargo, ensuring that all goods are properly secured and transported.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and working order of the truck and associated equipment, adhering to company and regulatory standards.
- Communication: Maintain regular contact with dispatch and receiving locations regarding pick-up and delivery assignments.
- Cargo Security: Position, block, and tie cargo to secure it for transport, as required.
- Safety and Security: Perform all duties in accordance with appropriate safety and security standards, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service solutions and interact with coworkers and clients in a courteous and professional manner.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of one-three (1-3) years' experience in the position applied for.
- CDL Requirements: Must possess CDL A or CDL B.
- Knowledge of Army Regulations: Must have a good working knowledge of Army regulations, systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
- Background Check: Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle background check and a background investigation to gain access to military installations.
- Computer Skills: Must have general computer knowledge, including working knowledge of internet software, spreadsheet software, word processing software, and MS Office Suite.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts, with strong interpersonal skills and good judgment.

Security Clearance RequirementsMust be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level, however candidates with an active Secret are highly encouraged to apply. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location. Securing and maintaining a Common Access card (CAC) is a requirement for all positions at this location.
