Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at The Vascular Care Group. As a key member of our imaging team, you will be responsible for operating radiologic imaging equipment and performing diagnostic imaging on patients in an outpatient procedural facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exam Preparation: Prepare exam rooms and equipment to conduct radiologic examinations in accordance with infectious disease, sterilization, and patient safety protocols.
  • Patient Preparation: Assist with preparing patients for surgical procedures by positioning and prepping.
  • Imaging Operations: Effectively operate C-Arm equipment to perform x-rays, practicing radiation safety control.
  • Image Review: Review examination images, finalizing images in PACS and ensuring proper file identification.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform quality control procedures to ensure equipment operates at optimal levels.
  • Workflow Management: Assist in prioritizing assigned work based on workflow fluctuations.
  • Procedure Documentation: Provide detailed and accurate procedure information for collection in databases as needed.
  • Compliance: Perform procedures in compliance with Standards of Care, facility and regulatory requirements, and ARRT Standards of Ethics.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine preferred.
  • Licensure: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) state of CT license.
  • Experience: 1-4 years of experience in general radiologic technologist preferred.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate with patients, visitors, and employees within the organization.
  • Availability: Willing to be available for local and/or regional assignments as needed.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to adequately use the department's computerized system and its associated devices.
