Job Opportunity: Synergy Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for a travel job in a home health setting.

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality patient care in a home health environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language pathology services to patients in their homes, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and physicians, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' communication and swallowing abilities, including speech, language, and cognitive skills.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patients' communication and swallowing abilities, including speech therapy, language therapy, and swallowing therapy.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of practice.
  • Experience working in a home health setting, preferably with a focus on speech-language pathology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to travel to patient homes and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
