Job Overview

i9 Sports is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Flag Football Official to join our team in Manatee & Sarasota, FL. As a critical role on any sports field, the Instructor/Official is responsible for enforcing rules while cultivating a positive culture, acting as an on-field coach, and advocating for the program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce i9 Sports rules books to ensure a fun, learning, and safe environment for all players
  • Teach and demonstrate core concepts, including sportsmanship values
  • Keep time and score during games, manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Sport-specific officiating, playing, or coaching experience
  • Highly motivated self-starter, able to work independently and solve problems
  • Awareness and ability to take charge of any situation to ensure player safety
  • Positive attitude and strong ability to build professional relationships
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and some evenings, for the full duration of the season (approximately 7 weeks)
  • Must pass a National Criminal Background Check
