Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet every customer with a helpful and friendly approach, reading customer cues and matching their needs with your service level. Share the benefits of our loyalty program, answer questions regarding merchandise, and complete purchases through either in-store sales or digital orders.
  • Cashwrap: Complete customer transactions while following our policies and procedures. Responsible for accuracy in counting money and providing change. Communicate pricing information from receipts. Operate a calculator and enter data via the register keyboard.
  • Store Operations: Maintain a neat, clean, and safe environment for our internal and external customers. This includes clearing trash from aisles, cashwrap, and stockroom, returning shoes to their designated areas, cleaning the associate breakroom and public restrooms, vacuuming, cleaning mirrors, and front walkways.
  • Merchandising: Receive inbound freight, prepare and place merchandise on the sales floor according to our standards, complete markdowns, maintain clearance standards, and organize and maintain the stockroom.
  • Fulfillment: Complete all functions of the fulfillment process, including locating items, inspecting product condition, packaging, and label placement to ensure readiness for pickup or delivery.
  • Asset Protection: Follow all asset protection policies and procedures.
  • Personal Development: Actively participate in daily team meetings and ongoing training. Be open to and responsive to coaching and feedback.

Requirements:

  • Ability to move with tempo to meet time-bound expectations
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in using technology to engage in customer interactions
  • Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing or walking around the store
  • Lifting, including the ability to lift up to a maximum of 50 pounds on an occasional to frequent basis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of retail experience as a Cashier, Retail Floor Generalist, or Store Receiver
