Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our Special Education team at Kenton County School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting screenings and evaluations of students with communicative or hearing disorders, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), and providing therapy services to meet the unique needs of each student.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings and evaluations of students with communicative or hearing disorders
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each student
Provide therapy services to students, including speech and language therapy
Consult with classroom teachers and other school personnel to facilitate carryover of therapy gains into classroom activities
Maintain records and progress data for students evaluated and receiving services
Engage in personal professional growth and demonstrate professional ethics and leadership
Requirements:
Master's Degree in Communication Disorders
Licensure issued by the Kentucky Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
Ability to work with students of varying ages and abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions:
187-day school year
Classified professional salary schedule
Exempt FLSA status
