Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at DHR Health. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiological procedures in a timely manner, working collaboratively with other members of the Radiology team to ensure the safe and accurate delivery of patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic radiological procedures in a timely manner
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the Radiology team
  • Monitor scheduling of x-ray staff and equipment to ensure smooth workflow
  • Assist in interviewing potential candidates for open positions
  • Assist in training new staff and/or retraining as needed
  • Perform quality control and maintenance on equipment
  • Responsible for the care and cleanliness of equipment, supplies, and work area
  • Accurately comprehend and interpret verbal orders and directions
  • Complete accurate documentation on patient records
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Graduate from an accredited LMRT education program
  • Current state certification (TMB) required with limited certificate issued in the following categories: Skull, extremity, chest and spine, or current temporary state certification
  • BLS certification required, or must be obtained within 30 days
  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience in a medical practice
  • Must be sensitive to cultural and bilingual issues
  • Front desk experience and organizational skills are necessary
  • Good verbal and written communication skills required
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English required, Spanish preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, administration, and physicians
  • Computer/EMR knowledge required
  • Excellent customer service skills are required
Working Conditions:

The individual spends over 95% of his/her time in an air-conditioned environment with varying exposures to noise. There is protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. The position does have low exposure to malodorous, infectious body fluids from patients and some minimal exposure to noxious smells from cleansing agents.

This position has minimal to no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues and is an OSHA Category III.
