Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of automated storage and retrieval systems, conveyor/sortation equipment, and other machinery. They will conduct preventative maintenance, research and suggest improvements in facilities operational efficiencies, and act as a liaison with outside vendors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance on automated equipment, including ASRS and conveyor/sortation systems
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment, including trash compactors, balers, emergency lights, and stretch wrappers
  • Research and suggest improvements in facilities operational efficiencies to support the reduction of natural resource consumption
  • Enter and track work orders in eMaint
  • Estimate labor/materials costs for repairs
  • Act as liaison with outside vendors and suppliers
  • Responsible for reviewing, enhancing, and suggesting improvements in the organization's operational efficiency in regard to environmental conscientiousness
  • Responsible for developing facilities plans
  • Ensure adherence to company facility standards
Requirements:
  • High school education or GED is required
  • 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician
  • 1+ years of experience as a Lead
  • 70e certified is preferred, but not required
  • Previous experience working with Exacta is a plus, but not required
