Perioperative Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Perianesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at St. Michael Medical Center in Silverdale. This state-of-the-art hospital features a unique design that prioritizes patient comfort and well-being, with beautiful views of the Olympic Mountains and Dyes Inlet.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in ER, ICU, or high-level step-down units, as well as current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing. Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities:

- Provide Perianesthesia nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures

- Assist with care and preparation of patients in the Pre-op unit

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care

Qualifications:

- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing

- Minimum 1-2 years previous RN experience in ER, ICU, or high-level step-down units

- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification and ACLS

- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within six months of date of hire
