Role Summary:
The Sales Lead plays a pivotal role in upholding brand standards and enhancing the teammate experience. Under the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Sales Lead becomes the in-store authority for their designated department.

This position emphasizes exceptional customer service while providing direction and support to fellow teammates. The Sales Lead distinguishes themselves through their ability to lead by example, demonstrate empathy, remain resilient in challenging situations, maintain a positive outlook, and collaborate effectively with others.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Contributes to building a robust team by participating in in-store interviews and department tours.
  • Fosters a people-centric culture by engaging with every teammate to establish mutual trust and respect, enhancing the store's recognition culture.
  • Plans and organizes tasks 30 days in advance with the Assistant Store Manager, ensuring effective strategies and alignment on workforce needs for daily operations, projects, and events.
  • Utilizes team members strategically to ensure brand standards are upheld and tasks are prioritized effectively.
  • Maintains company merchandising and presentation standards by adhering to established guidelines for floor sets, signage, pricing, and inventory management.
  • Assists the store leadership team with general supervision in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Facilitates training for teammates on company protocols, including onboarding new hires and cross-training existing staff.
  • Prioritizes personal and team development through hands-on coaching, emphasizing the rationale behind tasks and processes.
  • Leads by example to align team responsibilities with the organization's vision and goals, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for customers.
  • Creates an inclusive environment where all individuals feel welcomed and respected.
  • Adheres to safety, loss prevention, and operational procedures, maintaining confidentiality of company information.
  • Embraces a collaborative approach to support the entire store team.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
  • Experience in golf is advantageous.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 35 lbs repeatedly.
  • Capability to work extended periods standing or walking.
  • Ability to work at heights exceeding 4 feet using ladders or aerial devices.
  • Capacity to perform repetitive motions for short durations.
