Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Paraeducator I to join our team at Alachua County Public Schools. The successful candidate will provide instructional support to students and teachers in an elementary school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers with instructional activities and lesson planning
  • Provide individualized support to students with diverse needs
  • Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work with students of varying ages and abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position, working 20 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced elementary school environment and may be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
