Renewal Health Group is seeking a skilled Detox Tech to join our team at Sanctuary Treatment Center in Tarzana.

This role is responsible for providing direct service to clients and facilitating the smooth day-to-day operation of the program. As a member of the multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate to deliver effective treatment and support clients in their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with intakes, orient clients to the facility, and ensure they understand the rules of the program.
• Conduct rounds, room checks, and safety checks on a scheduled basis.
• Administer drug and alcohol screenings as needed and assist clients in self-administering prescribed medication.
• Maintain appropriate boundaries with clients at all times and enforce cell phone usage, curfews, and visitation hours.
• Attend offsite activities, such as meetings, gym, and doctor appointments, and ensure clients attend scheduled groups and therapy sessions.
• Lead clients in organized activities, provide crisis intervention as needed, and teach independent living skills effectively.
• Complete all charts, program documentation, medication management, shift/crossover reports, incident reports, and other forms and reports according to company policies.
• Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and in compliance at all times.

Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School graduate or possess a GED. Coursework in counseling, psychology, or social work preferred.
• Experience working with substance use, preferably in a detox facility.
• Currently registered with either CADDE or CCAPP preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team player with excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and personal automobile insurance.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

1. Hiring is contingent upon completion of a TB test, and clearance on a drug screen and pre-employment physical. Clean driving record and current first aid and CPR certification or willing to obtain upon hire.
