Ascend Medical Staffing: Nephrology Physician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Nephrology Physician to join our team at Ascend Medical Staffing. This is a part-time, supplemental coverage position that requires flexibility and adaptability.

Responsibilities:
  • Schedule Clinic and Call coverage for various shifts and days
  • Provide medical care to patients aged 18 and above
  • Rounding on hospital patients as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and conferences
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Medicine or equivalent
  • Licensure to practice medicine in the state of employment
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Nephrology
  • Fellowship in Nephrology (required)
  • Minimally 20 days for credentialing after submitting a completed packet
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate ($120-$200/hour)
  • Temp privileges granted upon completion of credentialing process
  • Travel and lodging arrangements available for out-of-town assignments
  • Average number of admissions per shift: 5-10
