Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Board certification in Neurosurgery.
- Preference for fellowship-trained candidates.
- Possession of a valid New Jersey medical license or eligibility for licensure.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Exhibiting clinical proficiency and surgical expertise in neurosurgery.
- Conducting thorough preoperative assessments and managing postoperative care for patients with complex neurosurgical conditions.
- Staying abreast of innovative techniques, particularly in endovascular procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Evaluating and treating patients requiring neurosurgical interventions.
- Participating in daily rounds and departmental meetings to discuss patient care and outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate medical documentation and timely communication with referring physicians.
- Providing comprehensive patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
- Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team to foster a supportive clinical environment.
