Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling: Coordinate patient appointments, provide information about clinic operations, and obtain patient demographics.
  • Check In/Check Out: Greet patients, accept payments, and ensure accurate and complete encounter forms.
  • Filing and Organization: Maintain patient charts, file documents, and prepare inactive charts for storage.
  • Referrals and Authorizations: Verify insurance eligibility, secure referrals, and collect proof of income.
  • Miscellaneous: Dispense supplies, type notes and letters, and perform related tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1 or more years of professional work experience required, with 2 or more years of experience in customer service preferred.
  • Licensure/Certifications/Registrations: None required.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Good verbal and written communication skills, customer service skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
