Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a variety of grinding tools, including surface grinders, belt sanders, and polishers, to achieve precise finishes and meet quality standards.
  • Examine and feel the surface of work pieces for defects, ensuring that all products meet the company's quality control standards.
  • Move grinders over the surface of work pieces to remove scratches and imperfections, using a combination of skill and attention to detail.
  • Polish ground areas with finer abrasives to produce smooth, unmarred surfaces, meeting the company's quality and aesthetic standards.

Requirements:

  • Possess basic technical knowledge of grinding tools and their safe operation, with a focus on maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Able to follow directions precisely and perform repetitive tasks, with a focus on meeting production deadlines and quality standards.

Work Environment:
