Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU-Step Down unit, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Monitor and manage patient conditions, including cardiac conditions and serious complex conditions
  • Develop and implement patient education plans to promote health and wellness
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Current Maryland Registered Nurse License
  • American Heart Association BLS CPR certification
  • 2+ years of experience in the area of clinical expertise
  • Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college)
