Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CLASS B vehicles for the delivery of ice products to various locations.
  • Load and unload goods using proper equipment and techniques to ensure safe and efficient delivery.
  • Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients during deliveries, ensuring a positive experience for our customers.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and adheres to safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Valid CLASS B driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience driving commercial vehicles.
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety standards.
  • Strong navigation skills with the ability to use GPS.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Capability to lift heavy items, including ice products.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
