Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will oversee and provide technical guidance to a team of engineers and designers, ensuring the timely and quality delivery of electrical and instrumentation services. Your primary duties will include:

  • Reviewing and approving all electrical deliverables.
  • Validating and tracking professional service and construction estimates throughout project lifecycles.
  • Establishing design criteria that meet applicable standards and codes.
  • Communicating project plans effectively to your team and stakeholders.
  • Maintaining project control through diligent tracking of budget, schedule, and quality metrics.
  • Delegating tasks based on team members' skills and providing necessary support.
  • Producing detailed design calculations and sketches, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications.
  • Monitoring and checking vendor drawings for electrical and instrumentation input.
  • Participating in training and professional development initiatives for staff.

Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution is required.

Registration: Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 15 years of relevant industrial experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering is required.

Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in the National Electrical Code (NEC), ability to perform various electrical calculations, and familiarity with CAD software are essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a team are also crucial for success in this role.
