Job Summary

Join our team at Continental Tide as a Project Engineer, providing essential support to our Fleet Services Group.

You will play a critical role in overseeing, planning, and executing shipboard installation, troubleshooting, and repair initiatives onboard U.S. NAVY, U.S. Coast Guard, and Military Sealift Command vessels.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Lead project execution and onsite management for shipboard repair and installation initiatives.
  2. Partner with Senior Management, Program Managers, and Project Leads on Surface and Submarine Alterations, Repair, or Fleet Modernization projects.
  3. Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with contract specifications.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and customers through effective communication.

Requirements:

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited Engineering program, hold a SECRET clearance, and have the ability to obtain base access and security credentials.

The ideal candidate should also demonstrate the ability to lift, carry, and transport heavy equipment and boxes (minimum 30 lbs), work on and climb ladders, and operate in extreme temperature environments, aboard ships, in shipyards, under industrial conditions, and in confined spaces.
