Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, counseling, and medication therapy management services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.
  • Counsel patients on medication therapy, including benefits, risks, and potential interactions, to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and community organizations to promote health education and awareness.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest clinical guidelines, medications, and technologies to provide evidence-based care.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure seamless operations, including inventory management, patient flow, and customer service.
Requirements
  • PharmD degree or equivalent FPGE (NABP) certification.
  • Current pharmacy license in good standing.
  • Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
