Job Summary

This position serves as a crew member on the EMS unit, responsible for assessing patients, providing medical care, and delivering patients to hospitals. You will work closely with patients, family members, healthcare providers, and other emergency responders to ensure timely and effective treatment.

  • Instructs first responders and the public on CPR and emergency care curriculums
  • Operates response vehicles in emergency and non-emergency traffic modes
  • Evaluates scenes and responds to conditions as per policies and protocols
  • Maintains EMS vehicles and equipment, performs routine maintenance and cleaning at EMS facilities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Texas EMT-B or AEMT certification in good standing with the Texas Department of Safety Health Systems
  • BLS: Basic Life Skills certification by The American Heart Association
  • A Class C driver license with no DWI convictions in the prior 10 years
