Forecast Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Forecast Supervisor to join our team at Yamaha Guitar Group. As a key member of our sales operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire process of worldwide sales forecasting, sales reporting, and demand plan forecasting.

• Develop and implement effective forecasting methodologies to drive business growth and accuracy
• Analyze sales data to identify trends and patterns, and generate accurate sales reports
• Create comprehensive demand plans that align with business objectives
• Lead the forecast team to complete the compilation and analysis of monthly revenue and demand forecasts
• Train and mentor team members on understanding of the entire product lifecycle and its impact on forecasting
• Ensure all required reporting is completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Identify opportunities and risks in advance, analyzing sales trends and making recommendations for corrective actions

• Five or more years of equivalent/related experience in an analytical role in Finance or Sales Operations
• Experience in a Manufacturing or Distribution environment using a fully-integrated ERP system
• Workday Adaptive Planning and Tableau experience ideal
• A bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong analytical capabilities, as well as proficient Excel and data-modeling skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly-developed attention to detail and ability to maintain a positive attitude
