Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients correctly
  • Monitor patients' responses to CT scans and report any concerns to radiologists or other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines
  • Transport patients as needed, ensuring their safety and comfort

Requirements:
  • One to three years of experience as a CT Technologist
  • Current certification in CT scanning
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Physical ability to lift and move equipment, as well as stand for long periods
