Job Summary

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for producing high-quality machined parts by setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program and operate CNC machines to produce machined parts, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards, adhering to international standards and regulations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machines, troubleshooting malfunctions and adjusting controls as needed.
  • Document and record production and quality logs, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth production and quality control.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; CNC education or experience preferred.
  • Functional and technical skills applicable to the operation of CNC machinery.
  • 1-3 years of experience working with CNC machinery or completion of a CNC education program.

Work Environment
The work environment is a fast-paced manufacturing facility with frequent standing, sitting, and walking. Daily administrative tasks require frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination for accurate typing, paperwork, and other tasks. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
